Mind / Body

Research has established a very clear connection between the mind and body.  In some cases this connection is very easy to demonstrate.  For example, if your doctor recommends a daily vitamin or perhaps a low dose aspirin, you depend on your thinking ability and memory to take the pills.  It's your mind that takes care of your body in this example.  This connection also works the other way around.  Reasonable exercise has been shown to be very effective in helping to manage stress, depression, and anxiety.


Intervention

In many cases psychological mind - body interventions can be very helpful.  Psychological interventions can help with many physical symptoms, and the reverse is also true.  Some psychological troubles can be eased, or managed using simple physical exercises.  I often use mind - body interventions to treat the whole person; not just a symptom.  Mind - body treatments can be helpful for people working on many troubles including:

  • Stress Management

  • Anger Management

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Indecisiveness

  • Pain Management

  • Sleep Disturbances

  • I.B.S.

Free Workshop
